Flag Edit & Translate maintains the website flagedit.org and its related online services according to the following principles:

We respect your privacy and take several steps to ensure it. Any individual information about your use of our site is not disclosed to any outside organization. We will not sell or rent any personally identifiable information or share your e-mail address with third parties. We use an “opt-in” process regarding the information we send to you, meaning that we will not send you information about content or services available through this site without your permission. Whenever we send you information, we will include instructions on how to unsubscribe from future communications.

We may report general website activity to third parties (such as advertisers or industry research firms) in aggregate form, without revealing personal data. We do not collect data about your individual use of the site unless you give explicit permission for content or advertising that matches your preferences.

Delivery Times

We aim to deliver shop products within:

  • 7–10 working days

Delivery Costs

We currently offer free standard delivery on orders over $99. Please select “Standard delivery” at checkout. This offer is valid online only. Our other delivery costs are as follows:

  • UPS $28 per order

Returns and Refunds

Within 14 days of receiving your order, you may return any of the following items to flagedittranslate@gmail.com for a full refund (we’ll also refund the shipping cost if the return is due to our error):

  • Any book in its original condition
  • Any unopened item (still in its plastic wrap)

Special Exceptions

  • Books: These items cannot be returned more than 14 days after delivery.
  • E-Books, Editing and Translation Services: We are currently unable to accept returns for these items.
  • Journals: Want to cancel a magazine subscription? Contact us at flagedittranslate@gmail.com. You’ll receive a refund for any remaining issues.

Refunds

We’ll notify you via e-mail once we’ve received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return. If the return is not due to our error, we will deduct shipping costs and taxes from your refund.

Packing and Sending Your Return

  1. Visit our website and fill out a contact form to initiate the return.
  2. We will send you a shipping label.
  3. Pack the items securely in a box along with the packing slip (receipt).
  4. Affix the shipping label to the outside of the box.
  5. Leave the package for your mail carrier to pick up.

FLAG EDIT & TRANSLATE DISTANCE SALES AGREEMENT

Subject

This Distance Sales Agreement is arranged in accordance with the conditions stated below between Buyer and Seller.

The rights and obligations of the parties pursuant to the provisions of the Regulation on Implementation Principles and Procedures of Distance Contracts are covered in accordance with The Law No 4077 on the Protection of Consumers in relation to the sale and delivery of the specified product which the Seller sells to the Purchaser and whose price is indicated below.

Invoice Delivery

The invoice will be delivered to the BUYER at the time of delivery of the order unless a contrary request is received by us.

General Provisions

  1. The BUYER declares that they have read all the preliminary information about the basic characteristics, sales price, payment method, and delivery of the product subject to the contract specified in Article 4 and gives the necessary confirmation in electronic form.
  2. The product subject to the contract shall be delivered to the BUYER or the person/organization at the address indicated in the preliminary information, depending on the distance of the BUYER’s place of residence for each product, provided that it does not exceed the legal 30-day period.
  3. If the product subject to the contract is to be delivered to a person/organization other than the BUYER, flagedit.org cannot be held responsible if the person/organization does not accept the delivery.
  4. The SELLER is responsible for delivering the product subject to the contract in full, in accordance with the specifications specified in the order, and with the warranty documents and user manuals, if any.
  5. If, for any reason, the product price is not paid or canceled in the bank records, flagedit.org is deemed to be freed from the obligation to deliver the product.
  6. If, after the delivery of the product, the bank or the financial institution does not pay the product price due to unauthorized or unlawful use of the credit card by unauthorized persons not caused by the fault of the BUYER, the product must be sent back to flagedit.org within 3 days, provided that it was delivered to the BUYER. In this case, the shipping expenses belong to the BUYER.
  7. flagedit.org undertakes to inform the BUYER about the situation if they cannot deliver the product subject to the contract within the term specified due to extraordinary circumstances, such as force majeure or weather conditions that impede delivery. In this case, the BUYER may choose to cancel the order, replace the product with an equivalent, or postpone the delivery until the obstacle is resolved. If the BUYER cancels the order, the amount paid will be refunded in cash within 10 days.
  8. Defective products sold with a warranty certificate can be sent to flagedit.org for necessary repairs within the warranty terms, and in this case, the shipping expenses will be covered by flagedit.org. This contract becomes valid after it has been signed by the BUYER and forwarded to flagedit.org.

Cancellation Rights

The BUYER has the right to cancel the order within 7 days from the date of delivery of the product to them or to a specified person/organization at the indicated address. To use the right of withdrawal, flagedit.org must be notified by email at flagedittranslate@gmail.com. Within 7 days of receiving these documents, the product price will be refunded to the BUYER.

Authorized Court

In the application of this contract, the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts in the place of residence of the BUYER or flagedit.org are authorized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade up to the declared value. In the event of an order, the BUYER accepts all the terms of this agreement.
